Blake Lanz - owner

Blake was born in CA, but hold his roots here in Seattle.  Throughout high school and college he worked in the residential and industrial construction and subsequently worked for a private commercial real estate lender in Seattle.  He has consulted for multimillion dollar distressed properties and developed them for resale.  With a decade and a half of experience surrounding the real estate industry he brings an innovative and creative look to Valére Development. Blake attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he graduated with a degree in Finance.  

Blake is also the owner and managing broker of Valére Real Estate.  When he's not working he enjoys boating, family time, and building his own projects at home.

DAVID sTEINBACH

David was born in Seattle, WA and grew up on Mercer Island and attended Washington State University where he studied Hospitality Business Management.  After school, he moved down to California spending his time between San Francisco and Santa Barbara and growing his career in the Hospitality Industry. David moved back to Seattle in 2016 to pursue his development dreams.  He was on the development team that built the Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences Portland, Hotel Vance Portland and The Viv Hotel Anaheim (over $1b in development!).  David paired up with his lifelong friend, Blake Lanz, and joined Valére Development in 2026.  When he is not working he enjoys rooting on the Seahawks, Mariners and Kraken or catching a live show at the Showbox, Crocodile or Tractor Tavern.  He is active in his hobbies of birding, tennis and yoga.
